Shedder’s Coffee

Every Second Wednesday • 8-10am

Phil's Restaurant
609 1 Street West, Cochrane

Dates: Jan 28, Feb 11, Feb 25, Mar 11, Mar 25

Getting out of the house and having a coffee with other men can make a big difference. It’s a simple way to break up the routine, share a laugh, and talk about what’s on your mind. These meet-ups are informal, they’re just about connecting, supporting each other, and reminding ourselves that we’re not alone. Sometimes, a good chat over coffee is exactly what we need for our mental well-being.

Men’s Circle

Saturday Mornings • 9am

St. Andrew's, Cochrane
128 1 Street East, Cochrane, AB, T4C 1Z3

Meeting in a small group gives men a safe space to talk openly about mental health. It’s not about fixing everything, it’s about listening, sharing experiences, and realizing you’re not alone. These conversations help break down stigma and remind us that reaching out is a sign of strength. Everything shared stays confidential, so you can feel comfortable being yourself. Sometimes, just sitting together and talking can make a big difference. Private and confidential.

Yamnuska Wolf Dog Sanctuary

Our recent visit to the Wolf Dog Sanctuary was a truly calming and uplifting experience. Walking through the sanctuary, we were struck by the peaceful atmosphere and the way it allowed us to slow down and simply be present. Spending time observing and listening to the howling was the highlight for many. Thank you to Eric for the guided tour, that truly made it memorable.

Legion BBQ Volunteers

Sept – Nov, 2025

Over four weeks, the Men pitched in to help at the Legion. Prepping food, serving the meal, and making sure members and their guests felt welcome. It wasn’t just about the work, it was about spending time together, sharing a few laughs, and giving back to the community. A huge thank-you to everyone who volunteered. And a special thank you to Andy for volunteering the Men.
